The Old Man: Vivian!!

Disclaimer: I do not own Felarya or most of the characters depicted within. Crisis and Felarya belong to Karbo and Katherine belongs to Zoekin. This story does contain some mature content as Vivian is in it, if you don’t know what that means, you should not read this.

It was still before dawn when the old man exited his tent, stretching his limbs. A series of cracks and pops can be heard emanating from various parts of his body.

‘Getting old is miserable,’ He thinks to himself, as his body finally ends its protest against him lying on the hard ground all night. He had been living in the forest for over 30 years now, and he had very few luxuries. His body liked to remind him of this when he woke up. This did not bother him anymore, however, because he had finally found what he was looking for. The perfect place to end out his days. He looked back at his tent, nestled in a large knot at the base of a giant tree. It was the perfect place to hide his tent, and he was safer than most because very few predators would enter the domain of his current benefactor. He mused about his luck while he walked around the tree. The sight that he beheld on the other side nearly brought tears to his eyes. It was his idea of heaven on Felarya. It was a glade of unsurpassed beauty. Right in the middle of the forest. He had run into it completely on accident. The glade itself was relatively large, and surrounded by the most beautiful flora imaginable. Reds, blues, violets, and every other color of the spectra met the viewers eyes when they first glimpsed this place. The middle of the glade contained a sort of lake, with water so clear that one could see the bottom if you stood on the shore. The water also tasted extremely sweet due to the amount of flowers that lined the shore. The lake was fed on the far side by a magnificent waterfall, behind which was a cave where the lady of this domain housed herself. Looking around he could see why she had chosen this place to make her home. He had only been living here three weeks and he never wanted to leave. At this point, he realized that he was thirsty, so he went down to the edge of the lake to get a drink. Just as he finished his drink, the morning sun broke over the top of the waterfall. This was his favorite time of day, when the first rays of the sun illuminated the glade, revealing it in all its glory. Almost as one, all the plants turned toward the sun as if paying homage to it and thanking it for blessing them with its light. The old man sat on the shore for a while, just reveling in the beauty of the place, knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is where he was meant to live for the rest of his days. The sun had become a little higher in the sky now, and a movement at the waterfall caught the old mans attention. He saw his friend come out of her lair and stretch. Even at this range, it was hard not to notice the large, firm breasts that the creature possessed, nor could one overlook the beauty that she possessed. Even the scales of her tail shone with a beauty that made the normal man gaze at their shine for hours. If the man were less loyal to the memory of his wife and a good deal younger, he would be stiff as a board right now. He shook his head to dispel these thoughts, and looked at her as she stopped her stretching. She noticed that she was being watched at this point, but upon seeing who it was, she just waved to him and began slithering in his direction. He waved back and stood to move away from the waters edge. He walked up to the path that surrounded his new home. He made it to the path just in time to meet the naga.

“Hello, little human,” She greeted him cheerfully.

“Hello, Miss Vivian, it is good to see you up so early in the morning,” he replied, bowing to her. He ignored the fact that she did not address him by his name, even though she knew it.

She made a face at him. “I really wish that you would stop calling me ‘Miss’, it makes me feel old.”

He smiled at that. He had talked to her about himself and she had reciprocated by telling him about herself. He knew that of the two, she was the elder by a good 20 years, but she acted like such a child that it was hard to tell that she was older than 15. This was her usual complaint about him, but one that she had gotten used to. He had explained several times why he called her miss, but she liked hearing his reasoning behind it. It usually brought a blush of embarrassment to her face, considering what she had thought of him on their first meeting.

“The term miss is a term of respect where I come from, and usually does come with age. It is, however, used to refer to people who have done something deserving of respect, no matter their age. What else should I call someone who has done so much for me, and who granted an old mans last wish?” He asked “I know what you usually do with intruders into your realm, and I know that having me so close is a constant temptation that is hard to resist. So if I call you miss for sparing my life and allowing me to stay, it is not because I am trying to make fun of your age, I am just trying to honor the sacrifices you have made on my behalf.”

Like he had been hoping, his explanation brought a smile to her face. He always liked it when she smiled. It was like the sun breaking over the waterfall, utterly beautiful.

“Well then, I suppose I shall just have to put up with it,” she exhaled a mock sigh. She liked this little human, both for his honesty/bravery and for his company. She had a lot of friends, but they rarely visited. It was nice to have someone to talk to, even if he is bite size. She was still a little miffed at him for being immune to her trance spells and her sexual prowess. He was the only human she could not get to come to her just by waving her hand and juggling her bosom.

“So, Miss Vivian, where are you off to so early in the morning. You usually don’t hunt until later in the day.”

“Actually, I am going to a friend’s home for a couple of days, for some ‘fun activities’. She has a new house mate who is very interesting, and it has been a while since I have had any real exercise.” She said this innocently enough, but the old man knew what her kind of exercise entailed, and fought hard to keep a blush from rising to his face.

She looked down at him, and to his surprise he saw a little concern in her eyes. “This means that I will be leaving you here alone for awhile. You are welcome to come along. I would like to introduce you to my friend; she has a young human friend of her own.” She did not feel comfortable leaving her home in the hands of a human, especially such an old one. But she could tell from the look on his face that he was going to decline her offer.

“That is most gracious of you, but I would prefer to stay here in this beautiful place,” he said, smiling. “You need not worry, I will do nothing to your domain in your absence, and I will protect it to the fullest of my abilities. So go and have fun with your friend, I am sure she is eagerly awaiting your arrival.”

She was glad to hear this, though a little saddened that he had declined her offer. She had never brought a human to her friends house, except as a dinner present.

“Fine, then. But make sure to take care of yourself as well. I will not be happy to come back and see that someone besides me has eaten you.” She teased. He was relatively safe from her hunger, seeing as he normally stayed out of her way when she was hunting and feeding.

“Will do, now go and enjoy yourself.”

She began moving away from him, and on impulse, turned back to him and blew a kiss. Then she slithered away and was soon out of sight. He laughed to himself, remembering how he had first met her and how he had managed to come to the current arrangement he had with her.

(Three weeks earlier)

“I am so sick of this stinking forest.” The old man said aloud in frustration. He had been walking around for almost five years on this forsaken forest, and still had not found one place that was anywhere close to what he was looking for. All he wanted was a beautiful, peaceful place to die. Was that so much to ask for?!!! He had been helping others for the past 25 years, and had nearly been eaten more times than he could count (especially because his memory was becoming a bit hazy). He thought that he deserved to get his final wishes. He moped about the unfairness of life as he walked along a small path that he had found. It was very narrow and in places he had to climb over rocks just to continue on it. But it seemed to be well trodden, and had animal tracks on it. He had seen some rabbits earlier, and if he was lucky, he could catch himself a nice dinner. It had been forever since he had had anything but fruits. It was not that he feared predators, just that the scent of cooking meat would draw some unwanted guests. He no longer cared about that, as it seemed that he would find nowhere to call home.

He continued long the path, but suddenly stopped. He felt a prickling sensation run the length of his spine, and instinctively knew that a spell was being cast nearby. You did not live in the forest as long as he had without picking up on a few things, especially the feeling that magic gave off. It was sometimes the difference between life and death. He felt the air, and was able to pick out which direction the spell was coming from. It was to his right. He remembered that there was a large predator trail in that direction, and that was enough for him. He begin walking in the opposite direction. He was moving relatively quickly, when the magic suddenly intensified, and he knew that whatever had been the designation of the spell, it had finally been fulfilled. He knew that he should not investigate, but with the power of the spell and the range it had reached, he was just too curious. He began moving back the way he had came, crossing back over the trail he had been on, moving closer to the predator trail. When he got close enough to the large trail, he felt the pull of the magic. It was directed further down the trail. He found some bushes that would allow for good cover and watched the trail. Within a couple of minutes, a large group of human males moved into view. They were dressed like hunters, though they did not have their weapons any longer. There were about 20 of them total, all moving in a single file line. He realized the type of spell that had been cast on them as a trance spell. He could tell by the vacant stares in their eyes, and the single minded purpose with which they moved. What surprised him was that the spell caster had been able to capture so many. The most he had ever seen were two or three. He decided that this was not a person he wanted to meet, and began to withdrawal.

Just as he was leaving, he beheld a sight that stopped him cold. At the far end of the line were two young boys. They could not have been more than 7-8 years old. He knew that the forest had mercy on no one, especially the young, but this just seemed cruel. He knew it was suicidal to do what he was about to do, considering that the spell caster would have a link to all those under their power, but he had to try and save them. He sunk down behind the bush and waited for his opportunity to strike. Just as the boys were passing him, he jumped out of the bushes. He struck each over the head with the staff that he carried and pulled their unconscious forms into the bushed. The hits on the head broke the spell over the boys and they soon awoke, disoriented but alive.

“Are you boys alright?” the old man asked as he looked down the path to see if the caster had come to see what had happened to their prey.

“We are fine, mister.” The elder looking of the two said, rubbing the bump on his head. “Where are we?”

“You are deep in the forest, you were under a spell that was leading you into danger,” the old man replied. A bit curious he asked them what they and the other men had been doing in this part of the forest.

“Our village is an largely farming village, but recently, there has been a problem with the soil. Nothing will grow in it. So my father and some of the younger men in the village decided that we would hunt for our food. But none of us are very good at finding our way in the forest, and we all became lost. Not long after that we heard this weird voice say ‘Come and play with me, I am so lonely’ and that is the last thing I remember.”

The old man could not believe his ears. What kind of idiots went into the forest without knowing how to survive in it. He sighed at the relative stupidity of his fellow humanity.

“If you tell me where your village is, I will help you get home.”

“But what about our father? Our mother will be distraught if we come home with the news that father is dead.” the boy wined, tears coming to his eyes. The old man had not had contact with other humans in many years, so he was a little rusty on how to explain how things worked in the forest.

“Your father and the rest of those men cane into the forest unprepared and lacking in common sense, and have now managed to get themselves ensnared by a powerful magic user,” he explained. “There is nothing that can be done for them, they fall under the laws of nature now.”

Apparently this was not the answer that the boy was looking for, as he burst out crying. The other boy stayed silent. The old man tried to silence the boy, knowing that his outburst would bring unwanted attention to them. Finally, exasperated, he said that he would try to bring the boys father back. This silenced the child’s cries almost immediately. Knowing that he was going to regret this, he asked for a description of the boys father. They told him he had long hair, and wore an emerald pendant given to him by their mother. After getting the description, he told them to stay put in the bushes. He moved away from them, looking back to make sure they followed his instructions. They had not moved. He skirted the trail, moving directly alongside it. He could feel the pull of the magic up ahead. Just as he got closer to the source, he came across something that took his breath away. It was the glade, and in the mid-afternoon sun, it was glorious. That such beauty could exist was beyond his comprehension. He knew that he had found the place he wanted to live for the rest of his days.

The old man was brought out of his reverie by the cessation of the pull of the magic. He did not want to leave, but he was a man of his word and he had promised the boys. He moved toward the direction of where he had last felt the magic. It was near the waterfall on the opposite side of the glade. He stayed hidden in the nearby foliage, and soon came across a sight that turned his blood to ice. In front of him in a large clearing stood the men from the village, and before them, the apparent source of the spell, loomed a giant female naga.

Now, a general rule of thumb in the forest was that if a person came across a giant naga and they did not see the person, the person should leave the scene as quickly as possible. The old man knew this rule very well, and even being a friend with Terra, he still did not want to cross paths with an unfamiliar naga. He felt sorry for the boys, but he was not risking his life to save their father, especially when he had just found his paradise. He was just turning away when a thought occurred to him. This territory, and by extension, the glade, might be hers.

‘Damn, I guess I have no choice but to confront her,’ he thought to himself. If he wanted to stay, he would need her permission. He would have to confront her sooner or later, and he had promised the boys that he would try and save their father. He made up his mind quickly, and turned back towards the clearing and the naga. ‘This is going to be tricky, but at least I found the place where I belong.’

He began to really observe her. Upon first examination, there was nothing hat really set her apart from the other nagas that he had seen. She was of extraordinary beauty, and she seemed to have a playful air about her. She did have an larger pair of breasts than most of her kind but nothing that made her really stand out. Upon closer inspection, however, she had something most of her kind lacked. An air of power, not because of her size, but because of her magical power. She exuded power like a king exuded authority. He watched her for a long time, enthralled by her. She began to move, and the old man was snapped out of his momentary trance. She smiled, a smile of satisfaction.

“So, which one of you sexy little morsels wants to be first,” she asked in a sultry tone. She began rubbing her breasts and moaning out loud, and almost as one the men all raised their hands. “Such good little boys you are.”

She looked over the group, and eventually spotted what she was looking for. He was a tall, handsome looking fellow in the front row. “I think that I will take you first, handsome.”

She reached down and grabbed the man, raising him up to the level of her face. “My you are a cute one, aren’t you?” He quivered under her gaze, not from fear, but from desire. She brought him close to her mouth, and the old man thought for sure he would be swallowed on the spot, but instead her tongue darted out from between her lips, licking the man from the waist up. Her tongue re-entered her mouth a few seconds later, and he could see that she was gauging the taste of he man in her hand. She got a mischievous look on her face, looking for all the world like a kid in a candy store.

“You taste very good, but I think you need a little additional seasoning.” She spoke in a husky tone, and the old man wondered what she meant by seasoning. He soon found out. She lowered the man to her pelvic area, and before he knew what was happening, the man was inserted into the creatures vagina. She let out a small sigh of pleasure, moving him back and forth, in and out of her vagina. The old man could not believe what he was seeing. He knew that most of the giant creatures were perverted, but this was a little over the top. She continued the process for several minutes, moaning in pleasure, until finally she released with a great sigh. She pulled the now gasping man from her pelvic region. Apparently, the milking of her strong vaginal muscles coupled with the lack of oxygen was enough to break him out of the trance. As soon as he was in the open air and saw the naga holding him, he began screaming.

“Aw, the spell wore off, that’s no fun,” she said, and quickly brought him to her mouth. He was completely covered in her juices. He slid into her mouth easily. She rolled him around for several minutes, enjoying the taste of her juices and his own natural taste. Then without ceremony, she tilted her head back, letting the man slide to the back of her throat. He fought the forces of gravity but to no avail, as he was coated with her juices and saliva. He was soon in the clutches of her strong esophageal muscles. He was pulled down the long passageway, the muscles forcing him ever downward, until he was dumped unceremoniously into the stomach.

On the outside, the old man watched the proceedings with a fascinated awe. The man was tossed around in her mouth, then she tilted her head back, and he heard a loud gulping sound. Seconds later, small bulge could be seen working its way down her throat, going between her breasts and finally disappearing from sight. He soon heard a sigh and a contented belch work its way from her throat.

“That was heavenly,” She said, rubbing her stomach happily,“ Enough fun, though. I am very hungry.”

She leaned down and grabbed the first two men she could get her hands on. She stuffed both of them in her mouth at once, and repeated the previous process, making sure they were sufficiently coated in saliva, another loud gulping sound was heard, and two small bulges followed the same path as their comrades. She looked down hungrily at the rest of the group. The old man knew that if he was to save the father, he would have to act quickly. Not knowing what else to do, he stood up and began moving forward, still under cover. He looked at the men who were left and soon found the one that matched the children’s description of their father. What he did not see coming, happened next.

“I can feel your presence, little human, so you might as well come out.” He jumped nearly a foot in the air. She had sensed him. He considered the situation, and knew that there was nothing to do but go out and meet fate head on.

He moved away from his cover and toward her. She sat coiled on the ground, a languid look in her eyes. He did not know if this was a good or bad thing, but considering their species, it was really hard to tell anyway. When he stood directly in front of her, he was unsure of what to do. So he fell back on his former meetings with nagas of a smaller sort. He sketched her a bow.

“Greetings, my lady.” He said in a very formal tone, not knowing how to address her.

She giggled at his formality. “My aren’t we the proper little morsel.” All of a sudden, she coiled herself around him, completely blocking any chance he had for escape. Before he could make a move, she began to incant the same spell that she had used on the others. He was not her type, being old, but she was not one to let food get away. She cast the spell directly at him, and what happened next took her by surprise. She saw her spell speeding down toward him, and just when it reached him, it dissipated. She was immediately on her guard, thinking him to be a mage of some power. Instead of making any sudden movements, the old man just stood there. He raised his hands to show his intentions.

“My lady, I mean you no harm, and would be much obliged if you would hear me out before you make of me a meal.”

She looked down at him suspiciously. “If you mean me no harm, then tell me how you defeated my spell.”

“I do not know, but considering how your spell works, I would say it is because I am old and stubborn.”

She thought about what he had said. She knew that it was true that sometimes humans with strong enough wills could disperse trance spells, but it was very rare. Just to be sure, she cast a magic recognition spell on him. True enough, the man had no magic aura about him. She relaxed and looked down at him with a different gleam in her eye. If one of her tactics did not work, she had more than one way to entice a human. She began to rub her breasts.

“I wonder just how stubborn you really are”, she said teasingly as she closed the circle of her coils. When she finally stopped, he was nearly eye level with her crotch. He could see the juices from her orgasm still vivid against her lower abdomen and scales. He felt decidedly uncomfortable.

“Um, Ma’am, not that I am not enjoying the show, but I had something I wished to discuss with you.”

She looked a little put out, but decided that this might be fun. She usually did not play with her prey like this.

“All right, little man, tell me what it is that you wish to discuss. If it interests me, I may even grant you what you most desire.”

What I most desire? He wanted more than anything to stay at the glade he had seen earlier, but he had promised the boys that if it were possible, he would bring back their father. He sighed heavily, knowing the foolishness of what he was about to do. It would probably lead to his own death.

“A little while ago, I was walking in the forest, and came across a strange sight. There were nearly 20 men walking in a straight line, all of them ensnared by a strong magic. Normally, I know to leave something of this sort alone, but just as I was turning away, I saw two small boys. I could not just leave them to some unknown fate, so as they passed me, I knocked both of them out and dragged them into the bushes. Upon their waking, I learned that they were from an agricultural village, and had become lost with their father and the other men on a hunting trip. I offered to take them home, but they refused to go with out their father. And so sympathizing with the boys, I came here to see if I could save him.”

She looked at him in disbelief. She had felt it when two of her prey had broken her power, but she never thought that there would be a human brave, or foolish, enough to try and save someone who stood right in front of her. This man had definitely peaked her curiosity.

“So, you are the one who freed those others, and now you dare to come to me and ask for the life of another of my food.” She towered over him, trying to make him cower in fear. He just stood there, with a sad look on her face.

“I thought that I would at least try. I lost my family long ago, and would do what I can to keep another from feeling that pain if I could.” He knew that there was really nothing he could do in this situation, but he was still going to try. “If you would but name your price for his freedom, I will try to pay it.”

She looked down at him, and for some reason, instead of her normal playful self, she asked him completely seriously. “You would truly pay any price for someone you do not know?”

“Would you do any less for one that you know that you might save?”

She was completely taken aback by this. No human had ever said such a thing to her. She was not normally impressed, but this man had managed to impress her.

“I will accept your offer, you may take the man back to his children, and escort them home. However, you will take the mans place, and will be subject to my every whim, including lunch.” She looked at him to see if the little barb had hit its mark. The man just bowed to her.

“I thank you for your generosity, my lady.” The old man replied, ignoring the verbal barb. “How long do I have till I must return?”

“I will finish here, and then probably take a nap. So you should return here about, oh, sunset.”

“Understood.” He replied, as she removed her coils from around him. He went to the father, and as he touched the man, the spell was released from him. He looked up, a little groggy. His eyes soon focused, and as he saw the naga before him, he drew breath to scream. The old man quickly placed his hand over the mans mouth.

“If you want to see your children again, do not say a word. I have managed to free you from her, but only at the cost of my own freedom. I will be very cross with you if you destroy my sacrifice with your yelling.”

He removed his hand from the mans mouth, and the man did not utter a sound. He grabbed the mans arm, and began leading him back down the trail towards where he had left the children. Before he could get down the road, the naga called to him.

“Please, don’t be late. I would hate to have to come and find you.”

“Don’t worry, I always keep my word.” And on that note, he left.

He led the man back to his children, and there was a tear-filled reunion. The old man asked where their village was located. When the man told him, he nearly snorted in contempt. It was less than 20 miles to the east of their current position, on the border of this and another territory. He pointed them in the right direction and they left, glad to have survived. Not one of them thanked the old man for what he had done.

He looked sadly in the direction they had gone, knowing that they might well be the last of his kind he would ever see. Then he squared his shoulders and moved back up the trail. Only an hour had passed since he had talked with the naga, and he still had several hours till sunset. If he was going to die, he would at least spend some time in that wonderful glade. He travelled through the woods until he came upon it again. He spent the next few hours looking on it in peaceful contentment. When it finally came close to sunset, he was more than ready to meet his fate with dignity. He travelled back to the field in which he had originally met the naga, but she was nowhere to be found. He did see tracks leading away from the clearing, and decided to follow them. They eventually led him to the waterfall he had seen on the other side of the glade. He heard heavy breathing coming from inside the cave, and went inside. He found the naga curled up in a corner of the cave. She looked quite cute and peaceful like that. He decided to take a seat and wait for her to wake up. He sat and watched her silently, the only sound in the cave was that of her stomach digesting her meal. Not long after the sun finally set, she stirred. He watched as she woke up and began to stretch, but stopped almost immediately, noticing the little human watching her. She was actually surprised, and a little pleased, to see him. Most humans were all about self-preservation. It was good to know that there were a few who still kept to a code of honor.

“So, you actually came, and I was so looking forward to a good hunt”

“I told you, I always keep my word, my lady.”

“Stop with the ‘my lady’ thing. It makes me feel so old.” She wined. “My name is Vivian.”

He looked at her, a little annoyed. “I do not see why it is necessary to give names. You are just going to eat me anyway.”

“It is rude to not give ones name to one that has given theirs first.” She spoke to him in an admonishing tone. He actually felt ashamed that he had not realized that she did not initially intend to eat him. She wanted to speak with him first. Maybe if he could talk with her long enough, he could get her to let him stay in the glade.

“Very well, Miss Vivian. My name is Jacob Halter.” He said, bowing low to her. He was shocked to hear a loud exclamation come from her.

“WHAT?!!! Vivian exclaimed “You are Jacob Halter?”

“You have heard of me?”

“You helped a small naga friend of mine a few years ago,” Vivian explained “She was in a terrible state and you nursed her back to health. Afterward, she asked around about you, and learned that you were a sort of healer, and that you went around helping others in need. But from the way she described you, it was like you were a hero of legend, brave and powerful.” She looked at him in disbelief, unable to disprove that he was who he said he was.

“I am no great hero, I assure you. I just enjoy helping those in need. I can’t stand to see others suffer when I may prevent it.”

She looked down at him, and saw the honesty of his words reflected in his face. She knew that she could not eat him. If she did, she would earn the disapproval of a lot of the forest.

“This really sucks.” She sighed.

“What does, Miss Vivian?”

“I have to go hunting so late in the evening, when there is a tasty morsel right in front of me that I can’t eat.”

“You mean you are not going to eat me.”
“Don’t push your luck, little human.”

“I thank you so much.”

“You should. No one has ever escaped me before.” She turned to leave to hunt, when she heard his voice.

“Excuse me, but if you are not going to eat me, is there any way that I may beg a favor from you?”

“What kind of favor?” She asked suspiciously.

“It is about the glade outside…” He proceeded to tell her his entire story, from his first meeting terra, to his quest for the past five years. When he finally ended his speech, she was looking at him with a skeptical look.

“You want to live here?”

“More than anything I have ever wanted. I swear that if you let me stay, I will do whatever you wish. No matter what.”

She looked down at him, and sighed heavily. “I will allow you to stay, but only if you promise to keep my realm exactly as it is.”

“Thank you, Miss Vivian.” He said, so happy that it nearly overflowed. He spent the rest of that night talking with her about himself and his adventures. She actually seemed quite interested at first, but soon he found himself alone, as she had drifted off to sleep. He left the cave and found a tree that was perfect to set his tent up at, and had lived there for three weeks.

(Present)

Jacob turned back toward his home, having thought long enough on that part of his past. It was time for breakfast. There were some good fruits that grew close to where he camped. He was just about to pick some when he heard the distinctive click of a gun being cocked. He straitened, raising his hands over his head. Turning around, he saw several men with guns pointed at him. One man, apparently the leader, came up to him.

“Get your gear. You are coming with us.”

This is the second installment of the story i am writing in answer to the hunting lesson by Zoekin. Jacob is quite an amazing individual. He is honest and brave. And this is what may save him in the end. I am planning 3 more chapters, so please bare with me.

Also, I don't think I protrayed Vivian correctly, but i wanted to think that she has a serious side too. I tried to play to that.

There is some mature material and vore in this, so if you don't like these things, please do not read.

As stated earlier, felarya and vivian belong to the great Karbo. Jacob belongs to whomever wants to use him.

Intresting place to settle down, well I've read the preveus one and I'm glad you gave him a name other then old man.=D

It sounds like the next chapter is going to have some fighting in it.
